Paid by Dfinity to design a concept for their future App marketplace. The Internet Computer is a public blockchain network so powerful that it can natively host hyperscale open internet services, pan-industry platforms, DeFi systems, secure enterprise systems, websites, and all of humanity's software logic and data in smart contracts. It is created by independent data centers worldwide running the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP)
After learning more about the company's mission and the goal/direction of their future apps marketplace, I created multiple wireframes to get a better picture of what features and experience would be necessary in achieving this goal.
After I got a good understanding of what the UI could potential become from the wireframes, I started to create high fidelity mocks to explore with different themes, interactions and patterns. This allowed me to visualize the true feeling and experience of the UI, helping me determine the right direction to take.

Since the Dfinity marketplace would be a new comer in a well known space where users are familiar with marketplaces such as; Apple App Store and Play store. I wanted to create an experience focused on building trust and app quality. The light background is soft and welcoming (to combat the intimidation of a block chain marketplace), while enabling focus on important content.
